About the project

Who says adults can't learn from high school kids?

"Exhibiting our Future" - High school students curating professional artists under three themes.

Bridging generational gaps and mixing the minds of ambitious students and experienced professionals
can create the opportunity for mutual inspiration and innovative ideas. Working closely with a unique
team of artists and specialists from the Ezoe Memorial Foundation, high school students will curate plans
for how to deal with potential problems of the future.

It's an exhibition of the future where three different teams will work together to design a
"new value" for our society.

It is our wish on our 45th anniversary that the power of collective imagination can stretch beyond social borders of any kind and lead to a more sustainable future for us all.

Team Introduction

The Era of Centenarian
How would you spend your 100-year life?
How would you support each other?

If you live up to hundred years old, how would you design your life? Until which age would you like to work?
Do you need pension? Can you live independently?
In reality, half of the public assistance recipients are the senior citizens.
How can we support each other in the society where the gap between rich and poor is increasing?
Can we make the warmer Aged Society?
We will think about the ways to live the society with long life and the ideas to support each other.

Curator High School Student

Mayuko Takeda

I’m very excited about brainstorming and discussing with
my team members towards the exhibition. Moreover,
finding renewed myself through this experience.
I will do my best, at the same time enjoying with my lovely team.
Please look forward to it!

Curator High School Student

Azabu High School

Nozomu Ogata

I have joined the team because I thought it was a great
opportunity to meet people that I would not have been
able to meet without such an opportunity. I would like to
increase my own value through this project, and of course,
I will work hard for the success of the project!

Curator High School Student

Ferris Girls' Junior & Senior High School

Kyoko Saegusa

What do you think about the era of Centenarian that seems to
come soon? So many things come up to my mind!
It is unknown what will happen yet, but I will try my best towards the fun exhibition that is
full of excitement with my unique team members!

Specialist

Graduate School of
International Social Science, Professor

Fusako Seki

Professional fields are social welfare law and elder law.
Rather than satirizing the problems of the society, we aim
to produce the real but the beautiful art work by the experts
committing into the exhibition. We try to create the art work that
can image the warm Aged Society. Our team will
challenge this globally cutting edge project.

Artist

Artist/Art Director

Hisashi Narita

I would like to live awesome life until 100 years old and create
world widely. Imagine the next HAPPY 83 years you will live and
try to fantasize “something”. The universe is created by
somebody’s LUCKY fantasy. Whether you can carry out your life
or not is depended on you. Come on! Let’s try! Let’s try! try!

Locally Global

People have moved across the borders from their home for centuries, in order to follow their friends and relatives, to pursue their dream and hope or to escape from poverty or disaster. In the new countries, they have encounters with new people and bear new stories. We will join the international society which exists in a local town in Japan from a high school student’s point of view.

Curator High School Student

Gunma Kokusai Academy

Rieko Kurita

The reason I thought about participating in this project is
because I thought it would be fun to plan and manage. We will
exhibit our work at Shibuya Hikarie 8F in March next year.
I will do my best to hear comments such as high school students can do such things!

Artist

Photographer

Kanako Sasaki

My inspiration is people’s everyday stories and memories. Even
people who have different circumstances and cultures,
will find common points from them and believe in the power of
imagination that can be captured as mine. I will explore new
effects of photography with the Curator High School students.

Experimenting Psychology!

Psychology is a learning that brightens person's heart. World in reality and virtual, subject and physics, life and death. We are the adventurers wandering around the edge between two contrasting world. How is this world created? We will see the fun of the world through your art and heart.

Curator High School Student

National Institute of Technology,
Ishikawa College

Nao Kawai

I would like to create an artwork that relate to psychology, art,
and IT that I have learned so far. I would like to have a
lot of opinions with the team so the thought that artworks are
difficult can be destroyed. Thank you!

Curator High School Student

Dokkyo Junior & Senior High School

Kishin Sameshima

Our team will work between Berlin, Fukuoka,
Kanazawa, and Tokyo by using internet devices.
I have a lot of ideas in my mind such as since
I like musical instruments, what would happen if I combine
music, art, and psychology? Because AI and VR are the topics
now, I want to express the meaning of humanity and life!
I will do my best to achieve my dream.

side moving, you feel that the train you’re on is moving
while it’s stopped. As a book,“Amazing Psychological Brain”.

I imagine that we can do something like“dress in a suit and walk
in the wilderness to see your friend that you don’t know yet”.
I would like you to smile when you’re working with me, but I’d
be happy if you think “I don’t want to be like you” inside.
